Information you share

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if provided, and the information in your message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide support, and address issues you report. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.

You do not need a learner account or payment details to watch our lessons or download free homework.

Technical information and cookies

Our hosting and website service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and access times to deliver the website, maintain security, and investigate errors. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for website operation, login sessions for site administrators, and third-party content. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some features.

YouTube videos and external links

Lesson videos use a click-to-load YouTube player in privacy-enhanced mode. The player connects to YouTube when you choose to play a video. YouTube and Google may then process technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no information is processed. If you follow a link to YouTube or another website, that service’s own terms and privacy practices apply.

Comments, where enabled

If you leave a comment on a page where comments are enabled, WordPress collects the details you submit, along with your IP address and browser information for spam prevention. Approved comments and the name you provide may be visible publicly. Comments may be checked by an automated spam-detection service. If Gravatar is used, a hash of your email address may be sent to that service to display your profile image; see the Automattic Privacy Policy.

Service providers and retention

Information may be handled by providers that support hosting, email, security, and website operation, or disclosed when required by law. These providers may process information in countries other than your own. We retain correspondence and operational information for as long as needed to respond to requests, operate and protect the website, and meet applicable obligations. Published comments may remain until removed. Backup copies may remain until their normal rotation.

Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, or to object to its use. Email support@ruixlabs.com to make a request. We may need information to verify your request and may need to retain some records for legal or security reasons. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority.
